The DVMC is excited to expand access to veterinary medicine education to traditionally underserved and underrepresented groups by offering education grants.
Recipients will be chosen and will receive an education grant in the form of free registration and paid travel expenses (hotel and airfare). A stipend of $500 will be provided to to cover meals and transportation to and from the airport.
With hundreds of CE credit hours to choose from, recipients will find relevant learning in a variety of formats as well as have the opportunity to network with industry professionals and peers.

Grant winners are required to be available to attend the length of the conference, and the educational grant reception which takes place during the conference where they will be celebrated as a recipient on stage and asked to introduce themselves briefly for 2-3 mins.
Who should apply?
Licensed DVMs, veterinary technicians and veterinary students.
Candidates from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
All applicants must be US citizens or legal permanent residents with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped (I-551).

HOW TO ENTER:
Submit an essay (maximum 500 words) answering the question:
“For those who are interested in championing DEIB initiatives in veterinary medicine, what specific suggestions would you make on how they can be supportive of those efforts?”
